We build on our own development potential For this reason, in-house training and development has always been very important to us. We offer the following training professions in both the commercial and industrial-technical sections.
Industrial mechanic - field of activity: Fine tool manufacturing
Do you like being hands-on? Do you like solving problems, ideally before they even arise? Then this training occupation is just the job for you! You will become a specialist in ensuring trouble-free use of machines and technical systems at different production sites with us.
You will primarily learn:
- Skills such as turning and milling
- Proper use of control technology
- Installation and calibration of assemblies
You must have the following:
- A very good school leaving certificate
- Interest in technical interactions
- Accuracy and an eye for detail
Duration: 3.5 years, may be shortened to 3 years in case of good performance
Start: in September

Mechatronics
Did you like building models as a child? You’re good with your hands and like repairing broken things? If so, become a mechatronics engineer! You will produce mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies here and also program mechatronic systems. You will become a specialist for monitoring, checking, and maintaining mechatronic systems at various production sites.
You will primarily learn:
- Fundamental knowledge of machining and electrical engineering, as well as
- control technology, such as pneumatics, hydraulics, or CNC technology
You must have the following:
- Very good qualifications on leaving school
- Interest in electrical engineering and technical interactions
- Accuracy and an eye for detail
Duration: 3.5 years, may be shortened to three years in case of good performance

IT specialist - primary focuses: System administration or application development
Was your favourite place in the shopping centre the technology section? Source codes and their effects fascinate you? At the same time, can you keep your feet on the ground and work out solutions with other people? The IT specialist course is - unlike what the name would suggest - a very versatile, varied, and communicative training programme.
If you select “system integration” as the primary focus, then you will learn:
- Setting up and managing information and communications technology (primarily for GEZE staff)
- Implementing customer-specific information and communication solutions
- Networking hardware and software components to complex systems
If you select “application development” as the primary focus, then you will learn:
- Development, integration, and configuration of software architecture
- Design, implementation, testing, and documentation of, for example, client-specific software applications
You must have the following:
- Good qualifications on leaving school
- Interest in IT connections
- Reliability
- Careful
